Our Mission in Training

MAG INTERNATIONAL, through its team of certified instructors and professional experts, provides specialized training and operational drills in Maritime Security both in Italy and abroad.

Our trainers and subject matter experts come from the Italian Navy and Coast Guard, with direct field experience in naval operations and maritime low enforcement.

Some of our instructors are also qualified in self-defense techniques, trained in the Metodo Globale Autodifesa (MGA) – under the Italian Martial Arts.

IMO ISPS CODE Certified Training Programs

Our instructors are accredited in accordance with the Italian National Maritime Security Program and authorized to deliver IMO/ISPS Code model courses at certified training centers under the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport.

Ship Security Officer (SSO) – IMO model course 3.19
Company Security Officer (CSO) – IMO model course 3.20
Port Facility Security Officer (PFSO) – IMO model course 3.21
Security awareness training for port personnel with designated duties – IMO 3.24

MAG academy

MAG ACADEMY & International Recognition

MAG INTERNATIONAL delivers its advanced training through the MAG ACADEMY, offering non-conventional high-level courses officially recognized by the University of NorthWest – USA (European Branch).

The courses delivered by MAG ACADEMY provide professionals credits recognized by the University of NorthWest – USA, valid for the Degree in: “Management: Major in Maritime Security and Maritime and Naval Science”

SAR – Search and Rescue

GEM – Emergency Management

COS – Maritime Protection – Special Courses

for Maritime Police, Coast Guard, Navy, and Port Security Guards. Two-week field and one-week classroom training to protect a Target of Interest (TOI) using naval tactical escort techniques.
for Port Authority personnel. Focus on identifying and preventing seaward threats through legal and procedural training.
for Harbor Pilots. Dual-phase course (16h theory, 24h practical) to develop advanced port-side protection skills with custom procedures.
for private yacht crews. Training on how to prevent unlawful acts against yachts underway, at anchor, or moored - including threats from surface or underwater.
based on the MGA Method (FIJLKAM – CONI) 8-hour theoretical and 24-hour practical sessions focused on lawful and effective personal protection without causing permanent injury.
