Our origins

Rooted in Command. Built for Maritime Security.

MAG International S.r.l. is a limited company based in Rome, established on June 12, 2012, by Giovanni Galatolo, Rear Admiral (ret.) of the Italian Coast Guard.

The company was created to provide strategic and operational support to the maritime cluster, with a focus on preventing unlawful acts targeting ships, ports, port facilities, and critical infrastructure — both in Italy and internationally.

MAG International is established in Rome by Rear Admiral Giovanni Galatolo to support maritime security and critical infrastructure protection.

2014

First Accredited Courses

MAG Academy launches its own courses, recognized by universities.

2016

EMS Patent Awarded

The Emergy Management System (EMS) receives industrial patent recognition from the Italian Ministry of Economic Development.

2024

SHELL Patent and Specialist Courses

SHELL system patented in the United States. New high-level courses are introduced for port pilots, yacht crews, and maritime law enforcement professionals.

2025

Academic Partnership

Official agreement signed with the University of North West – USA, granting academic recognition to MAG’s advanced training programs.
