Innovative Technologies

Advanced solutions for complex maritime scenarios

MAG INTERNATIONAL develops and deploys proprietary technological systems designed to enhance securety efficiency and emergency response across the maritime and defense sectors.
From seaports and ships to critical coastal infrastructure, our technologies are engineered to operate in real-time, support high-stakes decisions, and reduce risk through automation, data fusion, and procedural intelligence.

Our solutions are the result of operational experience, engineering precision, and a deep understanding of maritime threat environments.
They are patented, scalable, and adaptable to a wide range of applications — from surveillance and emergency management to asset protection and tactical support.

EMS – Emergency Management System

MAG International owns an innovative technological system known as EMS– Emergency Management System, designed to manage the safety and security of ports, airports, ships, and critical infrastructure. The system has been granted an industrial invention patent by the Italian Ministry of Economic Development, patent no. 102016000048724, classification G06Q.

How EMS Works

The EMS provides effective support to the operator in managing the efficiency of security resources and emergency situations.

EMS operates in two modes:

  • Consultation Mode
  • Alarm Mode
sge consultation

Consultation Mode

In Consultation Mode, the system provides the operator with real-time indicators, both general and specific, on the efficiency status of the facilities or assets it monitors.
This efficiency index is generated through data fusion, based on the status of available resources (human, technological, and documental).

sge alarm

Alarm Mode

In Alarm Mode, the system alerts the operator in real time about threats to safety or physical integrity that are currently occurring.
Once the emergency is confirmed, the operator is guided to follow pre-defined response procedures, which are displayed directly within the interface.

Emergency Management System

Main Advantages of the EMS

Significant reduction in human error;
Reduction of operational risks, with positive impact on client reputation;
Lower stress levels for emergency management personnel;
Enhanced security competencies and preparedness;
Interoperability with existing systems;
Compatibility with any pre-installed devices;
Integration with existing onboard and onshore sensors;
Full monitoring and management of emergency scenarios;
Real-time visualization of the operational theatre;
Live management of human, documental, and technological resources, in both Consultation and Alarm modes;
Decision-making support via predefined and validated emergency procedures, loaded into the system in advance.

Integrated Subsystems of EMS

Maritime Control Subsystem

This module allows the operator to:

Monitor in real time the movement of non-AIS vessels (e.g., small boats) navigating within maritime security boundaries;
Identify vessels approaching sensitive targets (such as passenger ships, tankers, LNG carriers moored in port) with anomalous behaviors in terms of route, speed, or location;
Trigger alerts for the activation of emergency response procedures based on subsystem signals.
Pollution Control Subsystem

This module allows the operator to:

Detect and identify oil spills or hydrocarbon discharges in real time within the port area;
Monitor the evolution of the threat;
Activate mitigation procedures to contain and manage the pollution event.

SHELLS – Smart Hull Enhanced Lightweight Lifter System

MAG International is the developer and owner of SHELLS, an innovative inflatable lifting system designed for maritime use, particularly in rescue and operational support scenarios. This system has been patented by the United States Patent and Trademark Office under number 70740127.

What SHELLS is

SHELLS is a patented innovation developed by MAG International.
It is an inflatable lifting system designed with a hexagonal cross-section and a thin-walled outer shell, which is inflated using a compressed air cylinder.

The inflation process is engineered for maximum speed and operational readiness:
the entire procedure takes no more than 90 seconds.

SHELLS is ideal for emergency operations, recovery tasks, and tactical support, and is compatible with existing naval equipment and deployment protocols.

Key Features and Benefits

Hexagonal section and membrane morphology ensure high lifting performance and versatility.
Designed for fast deployment in emergency or tactical conditions.
Can be installed on any floating platform for maritime use.
Suitable for applications involving submerged object recovery, ship stabilization, or safety operations in complex scenarios.
Engineered for both durability and mobility, supporting field teams and port authorities alike.
